Here are some pretty & simple boxes that I made. I created my own template & made a bunch of these for gifts to house small objects & jewelry. These are jazzed up with some flowers.

desoto jones website concept design
I recently worked on a project with a local up-and-coming band, Desoto Jones. They wanted to update & redesign their website to have their content condensed along with a cleaner look without having their picture dominate the site.
Above is my proposed website & below is Desoto Jones' old website.
The proposed site would have less pages on the toolbar, but still showing the latest news & upcoming shows on the front page. It will have shortcuts to social media sites as well as iTunes to purchase music.
The logo design is diverse enough were parts of it are adaptable to the application, media, printing limits, & band member. My concept for the logo is diverse, interchangeable, & playful.
Proposed email newsletter header.
Each band member would have a contact card which would be a skinny business card with essential contact information. The business cards could be adapted to each band member by changing the color & the flourish to make them all a little different with the same look.
The overall concept of the design is flexible since you can really dissect the logo form & piece it back together. Rather than having a logo & brand that would be stamped onto various applications, I felt like this showed more of the personality of the band. There is a variety of color schemes that can be created depending on what works well with each other & where it was being used.
The band moved into a different direction with the design & simplicity of the website. I helped out with putting together the current website based on Owen Staszewski's, the band's lead singer, artwork. Simple design solutions were my responsibilities. I, along with another designer, coded the new website.
Please visit the site & support the band: Desotojones.com

kodak books
I recently purchased a Groupon (love them!!) for a deal on small photo books from Kodak Gallery. I created much like a brag book of our two dogs for us & our parents (4 books total- 2 of each dog), and I have to say I was really impressed with the quality & the printing. I made the layouts & uploaded them to their site, it was super easy, and they printed/shipped them out really quickly!
I highly recommend this to anyone would is interested in a small printed soft bound book that is inexpensive.
sold!
Great news! I sold my first print at Moore College of Art & Design's Art Shop!
It was a print the I created to be a part of my Senior Show, all about a dream I had.
This print is also for sale on my etsy page.
There are 2 variations of the print: cream lionesses & blue lionesses. Check them out!
